Abraham R Camez III moved to Hoopa from Orange County CA with his family when he was 2 years old. He is a Native American descendant, and a lifetime community member ever since. He traversed the education system in Hoopa from K-12 grades and beyond, having gone to Chef school, then onto the Police Academy, Arson Investigations, Probation Academy, and Tribal Court work. Camez was part of the command staff on the Incident Management Team for the Hoopa Tribes Covid-19 Pandemic Response as the Safety Officer for 3 years, and is now a Digital Navigator after being released from IMT.
